Main-Meal Salads
Pasta or Anti-Pasta - mix & match the following ingredients for variety!
tuna
smoked salmon or lox
thinly sliced steak (grilled or broiled)
pasta (try gemelli, orzo, shells or spirals)
cous cous (check box to confirm if flavored cous cous contains milk or soy products)
beans
veggies
capers
diced ham/salami/turkey
pepperoni slices
almond slivers
Dressings
Most store-bought dressings contain some soybean oil.
Invest in a cruet and make your own salad dressings with olive oil or canola oil, your favorite type of vinegar, herbs/spices, salt and pepper to taste.
