Low-Budget Summer Fruit Salad
You can make this at the beginning of the week and have fruit salad on hand whenever you need an energy boost. Sprinkle with slivered almonds or sunflower seeds for a little extra protein.
1 can generic (store brand) pineapple chunks, drained (drink that juice yourself for a pick-me-up!)
1 can generic (store brand) mandarin orange slices, drained
2 bananas, sliced
1 cup seedless grapes, halved
2 cups seedless watermelon chunks (it's in season!)
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl or storage container.
